Privacy

Forge is operated by Matt Walker. This page tells you what we collect, why, and how to ask us to delete it.

What we collect

• Email and name from your Google account when you sign in.
• Phone number you provide so we can message you on WhatsApp.
• Your intake answers (modality, goal, timezone) and your coaching conversation history.
• Session ratings(the "how'd that feel?" check-ins).
• Photos you send us (e.g. gym equipment), stored in Cloudflare R2. We do not share them.

Why we collect it

Coaching is personal. We use your data to design sessions that match your modality, equipment, goals, and how the last session went. Your phone number is needed to deliver messages via WhatsApp's Cloud API.

Who sees it

You, the operator (Matt), and the third-party services that make forge work: Cloudflare (hosting + database), Meta (WhatsApp Cloud API for messaging), OpenAI (the LLM that designs sessions), and Sentry (error tracking). Each service has its own privacy policy.

How to delete your data

Reply STOP to any WhatsApp message from forge. We'll stop messaging you immediately. Email matt@mattwalker.co to request full deletion of your account and history.

Cookies

We use one cookie: the session cookie issued when you sign in. It expires when the session ends. No analytics or advertising cookies.

Changes

If we change this, we'll update the "Last updated" date at the top. Material changes get an email.
